Site Visits with Organizations
As GiveGrove continues to grow, so do the needs of the nonprofits we partner with. Along the way, larger societal shifts including challenges like COVID have reinforced just how important it is for us to stay connected and responsive.
One of the most meaningful ways we do this is through site visits and in-person meetings. A face-to-face conversation or a tour of your facility helps our team better understand how GiveGrove can serve both your organization and the people you support.
Site Visit Recap: The Res in Mishawaka, Indiana
This month, we had the opportunity to visit The Res in Mishawaka, Indiana, a beautiful preservation space that serves Northern Indiana and remains open year-round. The Res hosts facility rentals, holiday fundraising events, and even provides space for an independent kindergarten program during the week.
Seeing their grounds and learning more about how they operate helped us bring valuable insights back to our entire team. These visits help guide how we continue building GiveGrove ensuring future features reflect real organizational needs.
What We’re Seeing So Far
During our visit, we were also able to provide hands-on support for their team, including:
Updating their team admin and permissions settings
Demo-ing required questions to ticket sales
Managing complimentary tickets
Reviewing real event examples similar to their fundraisers
Following the meeting, we shared additional resources that could be presented to their board as they continue planning future events. In the past, we’ve met with organizations in Michigan City, Marshall County, Elkhart, and Holland Michigan. We’ve learned that having that dedicated space
Because GiveGrove is part of a broader family of organizations including South Bend Code WorksandSouth Bend Code School we were also able to connect The Res with other programs our team offers.
