Switch to GiveGrove for Ticketing

GiveGrove has continued to improve on the ticketing module and we wanted to take a second to outline it’s features. We think our ticketing module is competitve to other market solutions and (more importantly) saves organizations and donors money.

Ticketing Overview

(Almost) Everyone likes stats. Seeing how many tickets have sold, the tickets comped, Attendees checked-in and discounts used on your dashboard help you understand how your ticketing module is being used by donors!

The Ticketing Module has four major sections.

Tickets Table

This is where you create your tickets. In 2025 we added ticket packages, where you can sell tables or bunches of tickets in a group. You can require attendee information and allow guests to forward their tickets to others. You can also add your own custom questions like meal selection, shirt size, or any other information you need from your guests! You can make those questions required too!

Ticket Orders

This is where you see who purchased the tickets, when they bought them, issue refunds, and see your comps if you comped tickets.

Attendees

This is everyone who has a name on each specific ticket. So if I bought a table of 8, this would list the 8 names of the guests. You can download the attendees information, you can check-in guests, you can also send guests the login link or assign table assignments. Admins can also forward this ticket so if you’re still waiting on an answer for a question, you can forward the ticket and when the guest answers, it updates your tickets automatically!

Discount Codes

You can create discount codes in GiveGrove. We give you the option to choose a percentage or a dollar discount (15% or $10 dollars off). You can set a certain number of uses, turn the codes on or off, and apply it to only certain tickets. (Maybe it works for an individual ticket but not a table ticket).

Is the ticketing module right for you?

1. Are you using GiveGrove for other modules of this fundraiser?

If so, we highly think GiveGrove tickets is the right call. It allows guests to create an account in advance of the fundraiser and basically sets them up for bidding, a paddle raise, or voting.

2. How much are you or your donors paying for the other ticket service?

Since we set up tickets in GiveGrove for no cost, you can create a ticket and see if there is a cost-savings for your organization or the donor. We created the ticketing module to be on par with other ticketing services. Compare fees to fees!

3. Are there integrations or backend hook-ups for your current ticket provider?

Let us know! We want to know what type of integrations that you need for our reports to talk to your donor management system. It its a simple integration, we might be able to hook it up for you! As you know, we provide a CSV file which gives you the ability to upload your ticket sales into your DMS or CRM directly.

Reminder Silent Auction Webinar

We are hard at work refining and distilling information from our silent auction to share with you all. 62% of all events in GiveGrove use the Silent Auction module. Our goal is to give you a competitive advantage with your silent auctions. Our hope is that the information shared helps you build smarter auctions that raise more money for your missions.
